sounds like christmas was a little different this year, a little more low key. that baby blessing sounded awesome. wynter is such a sweet name. that is soooo sweet about matt putting his papers in, tell that bm face to email me.
so this week was a relatively normal missionary week, lots of walking in the sun! it was a little bit more of a breather week compared to how the last two weeks have been.
i've been thinking alot about patience lately. i remember vance, in our mission prep class, said that we should never never say "its not fair," because Christ will make everything right in the end. i've thought alot about that. the part thats difficult is the "in the end" part. thats where the patience comes in. oh man, have i learned patience in the last 4 and a half months or so. being with 3 companions where its not easy to find things you have in common because your culture and youth are so ridiculously different, i've had to practice it every day haha. when i get frustrated, the thought that Christ will make everything right in the end comforts me, and gives me the motivation to act properly.
i got a sweet Christmas card from the Hyers, and andrew's annual Christmas letter (i loved the tiger woods joke) this week and i enjoyed em! cody lehr also sent a letter for me and a couple of shirts for elder ekaette from up north in kumasi. what a stud.
i feel bad cause elder ekaette is just sitten here waiting for me, so i think i'll stop here.
thanks for everything, i love you!
love, elder mackay
