Oh man i wanna see pictures of the waco, dad! knowing you, i'm sure that its gunna look sick when its finished! i wanna see pictures!
so i've talked to some people and theyve said that if i send a memory card home, that the scanners that they have in the airport will destroy the picture files. so other missionaries tell me to burn the pictures onto a cd and send that home. so next pday i'll try to do that. mom, should i try to send a memory card home with some pictures also with the cd just to test it?? whattaya think??
so today we went and played football with swedru zone, which is where elder kalinja is. it was sweet to see him. he's crazy haha!! he says your still writing him...so thanks for that.
i dont really have much to write about this week. elder ekaette was sick, so we didnt proselyte all week. they think that he might have the chicken pox and apparently it's pretty contageous at this point so it was a long boring week in the apartment haha. he seems to be doing better though, i think we'll get to go out this week.
elder agama got his new companion this week, named elder thoronka, from sierra leone. he's a happy happy kid. i'll make a voice recording for next week and tell you more about him. i love the kid. i've decided to make a little bit more of an effort to help you guys get to know some of my people here in moree that i love.
remember kobe and georgina that i told you about last week? he's never been to church, and she is a less active, she used to attend church in the city before they were married. they've got 4 kids. i love them seriously! we were able to get permission from the mission doctor to leave the apartment to moree for a couple of hours on saturday and then church on sunday, but he kept his distance from the other people to be safe. we went to kobe and georgina's house, and found georgina there. she was busy, but we extended an invitation for her to church on sunday. oh man i wanted her to come so bad...and she did!! kobe was out of town, but i hope she'll get him to come next week. i serously love that family. i think i told you last week that they are the first people that i've been able to teach a mother, father, children TOGETHER. the culture just doesnt allow for that to happen very often.
it was ward conference yesterday. talking with the stake president, he said that it is still the tithing that is keeping moree from getting its chapel. we need it so bad! for the last 3 weeks there havent been enough seats in the chapel, so people have been standing outside during sacrament meeting. also we need more members of the ward to be endowed.
well, another week down!! time is beginning to go by quickly...love ya!
love, elder mackay
