A noisy schoolhouse

thanks for all of the encouragement, mom. it was sweet to talk to you guys on friday i loved it! dont worry about the credit running out its cool. we'll just have to learn and make it work next time. did you say that it costed 20 or 120 dollars for 149 minutes?? cause if you said 20 than it'll be much much cheaper for you to call me next time. but if you said 120 then i'm pretty sure itll be better for me to buy credit here.

elder ekaette is a happy man huh?? things like that get him SOO happy. he cant keep quiet or hold still. he has to make sounds ahah. he'll just yell "eye" or "masta" or something when he thinks about something that makes him excited.

the baptisms were nice. our ward clerk francis ansah asked if he could do the baptisms this time so he did em. it is so freaking hard to do in the ocean with all the waves!

the chapel (old schoolhouse) is still terrible. still tons of noise. we found this like old closet and asked our bishop if we could begin teaching an investigator\recent convert class in there, so we did that on sunday. we had 20 investigators at church on sunday! the reason we had so many is cause its the Christmas season, and everyone who was living outta town will be home for Christmas break. the whole schoolhouse was FULL and there were people standing outside of the building during sacrament meeting. we need a freaking chapel in moree!!!!

to answer your question, elder balyejusa is from uganda (south east africa) and elder agama is from ghana, volta region (its a region, or basically state in northwest ghana). in different parts of the country, different tribes live there. each tribe will usually have its own language. elder agama is an ewe (i think thats how you spell it, its pronounced eh-way) so the language that he speaks is ewe.

no one else in my apartment got any packages, so we all enjoyed the candy and stuff together. the candy was all finished that day. and there was alot of candy. they all called home and loved it! they were all sooo happy. we all make fun of elder agama because he was talking to his date (african term for girlfriend) on the phone and we walked in and heard him call her "sweetsie" haha!

i'll keep this letter short cause we've come from playing some football and elder ekaette says he's getting antsy to go home and sleep! i think he's forgotton that we have to go to moree to go to fhe with brother nyan, our 2nd counselor haha!

thanks for everything, it was sweet to talk to you on the phone i love you!

love, elder mackay
