A new branch in Swedru Zone

it was sweet talking to you guys on the phone yesterday. you americans talk so flipping fast, i had to listen so closely to understand every word - especially to shauna and dallin. hah. i can't wait to be back, but i also never wanna leave this place... so i donno what to do...

sorry you never got my email last week, i dont know what happened. i specifically remember typing it up and sending it to you, but there is no trace of it in my outbox or drafts. whatev.

we had a cool p-day day today. we got out early and went and opened up the chapel for the sisters who were coming to cook some red red (which is beans cooked with fried plantain) for the two kumasi zones. it took a little while, but the food was really good. we went from there back home, and i washed my clothes and took a shower. then we went to our ward christmas party in the evening (thats why i'm so late emailing today). we just left there and came here. they had a few different kinds of rice, plus some banku (i'm not even gunna try to explain it to you, sorry). i'm pretty full.

the ward party was really fun, we have some sweet members in the ward, and we're getting to know them all pretty fast. since we've been making sure to know them and spending time with them in their houses, they're really happy to see us whenever we meet. it's a really good feeling.

i got some interesting news today, (which i'm sure you heard about before even i did, mom). elder ekaette's area up here is called asokwa (ah-so-kwah). they are opening up a new branch from that ward where the members will worship in the missionary's apartment. elder adams will be going there to open that area up! it's called atonsu (ah-tone-sue). we already have a ton of members there, but it's super far from the chapel, so there's a ton of less actives that don't come cause it's so far away. so he will be in the other zone in kumasi, not mine. also, elder ekaette is going to a village in swedru zone called odoben, and elder nzuki is going to replace elder adams in moree! i'm jealous of him.

anyways, i don't have too much to say cause we just talked yesterday. i sure do love and miss you guys, especially around the christmas time. i'm excited to spend next christmas at home, but lets hope that doesnt come toooo fast...
