well i got some news for you. i got a call from president sabey about an hour ago and he said that they'll be sending me up to kumasi and another missionary is coming down to be in my place. he didn't tell me a ton about it, we'll see how it all goes. i'll be sent off on a bus tomorrow morning.
kumasi is basically another mission. there are 8 zones in our mission, six are down south by the coast and two are a few hours north in kumasi. the six down here all see each other relatively consistantly, but the two northern zones are pretty much on an island. there's alot of cool missionaries in kumasi right now, so it'll be nice to see em all. my companion will be elder kamara (from sierra leone) and elder lehr will be in my apartment! the area i am going to is apparently called bantama.
it's gunna be tough to leave the area, i've made some good friends here in the past six months. joel, comfort, sarpong & jones, grace, christy, etc not to mention all the missionaries. i'll leave at noon and we have a baptism here tomorrow evening at six haha!! emanuella and patrick will be baptised. love them.
but i'm excited to go to. i'd say the amount i am sad is just barely more than the amount i'm excited so its all good. i really got no problem with life right now, though. so that's all kinda come at me in a big rush and now i have a ton of stuff to do and not alot of time at all. so sorry you probably won't hear much about how my week this week was haha! remind me to tell you next week about the africa broadcast by the general authorities this week, it was really sweet.
thanks for the addresses, mom. thanks for the email, dante!
elder and sister lamb wanted me to get a message to you. she said a bunch of spam and virus stuff got sent to her email this week, and she deleted alot of her emails, some of them which could have been normal emails. so if you have sent her one somewhat recently, resend it!
i love the lamb's so much. they are such a big help here. when i called them to tell them i was going they right away started thinking of ideas of how they can help with transportation and getting the new missionary here and getting me off. they're making this go alot smoother than it otherwise would.
well i'm off on another adventure! this mission is so sweet i love it.
i love and miss you guys.
love, elder mackay
Wow, Jesse received the phone call today at 5:00pm (his time) that he's being transferred, and needs to be on a bus tomorrow by noon! That's missionary life!
