happy birthday grandma mackay and brynn! and sarah reynolds too!
his mom is still out of town, so we havent been able to sit with her yet still. but he came to church sunday!! we were so stoked to see him there (i'm pretty sure he was able to make it cause his mom is out of town). he's doing really well.
after church we met him at his house and he had questions about this doctrine and convenants book he heard about there and the book of moses. he also wanted to know more about the sacrament. so we taught him about the standard works and all what they are. we'll meet him on tuesday and we're planning to teach him a ton about the sacrament, and also maybe teach him about baptsims for the dead so he can see how he can help his grandmother.
yea it was pretty tough seeing elder ___ having to go home. he was in takoradi, just fifteen minutes or so from my area. i had a chance to see him at his apartment a few days before he had to go. he came out and was talking and had his normal good sense of humor, but he couldnt stay out for too long cause his headaches are just ridiculous. on my flight from new york to ghana i was sitting next to elder lehr on my left and elder ___ on my right! he's a sweet guy. let him know that we haven't stopped praying for him over here. let me know if you hear anything about how he's doing.
sorry i havent been able to send pics home yet, i'm honestly working on it. the problem is that i have like 2 or 3 gig of pics to send and i cant find a place that sells cd's big enough here. so i've asked elder adams to send me one from the place in cape coast that we get them, so i'm waiting for that to come.well i'm off. i love and pray for you numerous times every day.
love, elder mackay
(A big THANK YOU to Elder Darrow's parents who sometimes forward their son's photos to us!)
