The best companionship contest

hey!

sounds like the cabin was pretty chill for you. it made me just think of a random thought. i remember back home whenever we would go to the cabin dad would always be like "don't you just love how peaceful and quiet it is?" and i never really had much of an idea what he was talking about. well, most of moree is pretty loud and busy with music and yelling and stuff because these africans are not quiet people. so we've kinda expanded our prosolyting range a little bit in the past 5 months and spend time now in an area called moree junction. there's not a ton of people that live there, and it's a little bit more upperclass and respectfulish. anyways, it's just super super quiet and i just love it there. i think i know what dad was talking about now.

anyways, my week was sweet. first i'll tell you a bit about last week cause i didnt have time. we had a cool baptism. we set it for 4:30 oclock (its super hard to get meetings like that to start on time here...) and we had everyone at the chapel and changed by five which we were happy about. it was combined with the abakramba branch, which is one of the saunders prosolyting areas. so we get to the chapel and the whole abura zone is there along with pres and sister sabey! the whole thing went on smoothly though, except for some pretty inexperienced baptisers but that's always the case right?? haha

we also accomplished the new world cup goal at the baptism on that day too. i think we might be the first in the mish. so we're pretty stoked about that.

by the way, i don't remember if i mentioned this last week or not, but at interviews they did a competition where you answer ten questions about your companion and see who gets the most right. well,when we went, we found out that a couple of our buddies who are companions had the highest amount of correct questions in the mission - 16 out of 20. so we got all pumped and beat em by 1!

this week was cool. we spent a TON of time getting referrals and stuff during the world cup matches for the goal. we wanna accomplish the goal again or at least help another companionship to do it if we can.

speaking of soccer, i was so freaking mad when we lost on saturday. (Ghana played the U.S. in the World Cup) the worst part was when we went to church the next day. everyone knows i'm from america and most know that elder adams is too, so they just went ahead and gave it too us. honestly, all we did was step into the doorway of the chapel and instantly the elders quorum pres had the fattest smile as he was looking at us. the ward clerk was making hand signals at us. and the ward mission leader was holding up one finger in one hand and two in the other (the score of the match). that's about how our day went yesterday haha.

well transfer news comes again this week, so later today we'll be getting our call to let us know if we're going or staying or staying together. we're hoping for one more transfer together. we'll see.

i got your package this week mom, the preach my gospel is so freaking sweet. everyone gives me love for it. thanks (We sent him a PMG with a laminated front and back cover because his was very worn out)

i'll work on labeling those pictures for you. do you think it would be ok if i just went through the pictures on a voice recording and sent that to you?? just an idea.
