brother skinner sounds like a stud!! oh man what i would give to be able to sit down and have a conversation with someone who's got all those insights . . . and thats sooo sad about those romanian elders. i always wonder about faithful kids like that that die so early - are they gunna be able to marry in the next life?? all the scriptures that i can find say the answer is no, but that doesnt seem fair. my heart tells me they will . . .
this week was a simple one, we worked alot on preparing our candidates for our next baptism in a couple weeks. felicity and albert will be baptised, plus some children. elder ekaette has been doing really well this transfer. in the beginning, when we were in the lessons i would do 95 precent of the teachings, and he didnt want to do as much. as time has gone on, he has grown more confident and able through our studies, and he slowly began to teach more and more.
this transfer, which began a couple weeks ago, i decided that he would act like the senior companion. most of the time, i'll just sit back and let him teach the whole lessons by himself, and then i'll just come in and add my two cents and bear testimony then give it back to him. and he has improved like crazy, i'm so proud of how the kid is doing. i'm gunna miss that boy when were separated. i'm trying to get some good videos of him!
so david fajardo comes home this week, thats nuts! i cant believe that. he's gunna be all asian and awkward haha! i'm gunna be way worse than he will, though, that i'm sure of.
well another week has gone by! time is really beginning to fly now. let me know if theres any un answered questions or anything that i can do to make my emails better . . .
love you!
elder mackay
