my week was a long one. we had to go to cape coast and back last week on tuesday, wednesday, and friday and it's about an hour and a half drive one way. it was draining to do that, then come back to prosolyte in the evenings.
we got some sweet leadership training though. there's going to be alot more of a focus on baptism in our lessons in the future. also as we were in cape for training, they stressed alot about asking questions and really getting heartfelt answers from people. on saturday we went out and got to try it all out, and i'm STOKED about it. i won't give you details now, but i will say that our lessons will become much more productive now.
alot of the idea's pointed towards training the missionaries and investigators to be able to be able to feel the promptings of the spirit. as we are teaching our lessons we'll be focusing a ton on just trying to say the thing that the spirit urges us to say, which means there needs to be a high level of obdience and work in order for those urges to come. i'm so excited about it though.
a week from tomorrow, elder sitati, who is the seventy from kenya, is coming to speak to our misison. then, at the beginning of october our mission gets to have a temple trip! at the end of september is the end of the transfer, but i think i'll still be here in sekodi for a while. we'll see how it all goes.
i tried emailing the video of me listening to the one year song, but it didnt work i think cause it's too long so sorry you'll have to wait a bit.
well now i'm off to family home evening at the aidoo family's house.
